Newkirk Plaza Juice Bar Opening Friday

Bally's Energy Food Fuel is planning to open on Friday in Newkirk Plaza where the card shop used to be, right next to the Newkirk tunnel. According to the menu above, which the friendly owner gave us last night when he saw us peering in the windows, Bally's EFF will include a variety of vegetarian options, including Boca and Quorn burgers and a vegetarian wrap. The juices include remedies for skin problems, anemia and headaches, and there are also smoothies, including a Peanut Butter and Jelly smoothie. The owner told us the restaurant will be open 24 hours a day and there will be outdoor seating on the plaza overlooking the tracks. Now there are two places that you can eat while trainwatching!

Forgetabout it! The help there is helpless...they don't even know what a sandwich is...I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, and it took all three to figure out what a sandwich was, gave me sour chicken salad, the end of the bread, forgot to toast it, and tried to bill me for the 1 lb of chicken salad, not the sandwich price...I hope they learn what the word "sandwich" means soon...

hey asshole. give them a chance. they've been open less than a week. i got a thai chicken wrap there tonight. i was more than satisfied. it was tasty and a decent price. its about time my neighborhood got some new food. even though the bagel place will always have a place in my heart (and stomach), i'm glad there's somewhere new especially since the bagels aren't as good as they used to be.

I have changed my mind...
I just have finished eating there,
as has everyone...three guesses why it is always empty..If you like the place so much, why dont you work there and give better service?
