We've heard horror stories of commuters clipping their toenails on the train before, but someone must have really had a lot of time on their feet to give themselves a clipper-breaking pedicure on the B train last night.
Clipping nails in public makes me grimace involuntarily, which has gotten me in trouble when on the train. People take reactions to there hygiene very personally, apparently.
I wonder if these clippers were used for scratching something clever into the window or seat. I don't even want to imagine the toughness of the nails that would have broken these.
