R.I.P. Bob Guskind

It is being reported that Bob Guskind, the founder of Gowanus Lounge, died last night in his Prospect Heights apartment. We can't add anything that hasn't already been said, and we never had the pleasure of meeting him. But we will always be thankful for the attention he gave to our little old neighborhood, amidst all the other exciting Brooklyn news he covered. His site was the first to give Flatbush Vegan a shot in the Brooklyn blogosphere and for that, we are forever grateful.
