5 people are on a Brooklyn bound Q train. Two couples, one dude. The boyfriend in the first couple has a Brooklyn Industries bag. Both members of the other couple have Whole Foods bags. The 5th guy has a canvas he's been working on with some Jackson Pollack type stuff on it. Everyone gets off at the same station. Which one is it?A) Dekalb
B) Atlantic
C) 7th Ave.
D) Prospect Park
E) Cortelyou
The answer (HERE) may surprise you.

I used to profile people that I thought would exit the Q train at Atlantic or 7th Avenue during my commute from work back to Kings Highway. It stopped working because the people that I had pegged to get off at Atlantic or 7th started getting off at Prospect Park, then Parkside, then Beverley, then Cortelyou. My vote is for Cortelyou.
I guess 7th. Do I win?
I vote church.
Cortelyou.
cortelyou is the new mini-Slope, which itself is a mini-Village. Hipsters + C.You = win.
I don't think that Cortelyou is a mini-slope. There is a diversity and vibrancy on Cortelyou/Newkirk/Church that is missing from Park Slope. That's why it is so much nicer out here.
Why is their getting off at Prospect Park surprising? Lots of apartment buildings in close proximity and the transfer to the Franklin Ave shuttle where you can go one stop and get the 4,5 or 6 train.
oh boy here we go again. Hipsters, gentrification. I lived in Greenpoint for 15 years and moved out to DP to get away from that. Have been here for 7 so far and trust me Cortelyou road has about 10,000 years more to go before you have to worry about the trust fund hipsters stealing your seat at San Remo.
I hope that you are right anon at 4:29. The worry here is not hipsters taking my seat at San Remo's but the difficulty that I am having trying to profile people so that I can get a seat on the train after a long days work.
Well said, 5:42!
LOL 5:42! I'll admit that on the way home I try to stand near an Asian person in the hopes that they're getting off at Canal Street.
